Sphere Entertainment is seeking a Senior Director Imaging Systems to manage the integration of Sphere's camera hardware and imaging processing software with Studio Capture and Production workflows. The role oversees hardware and software integration, testing, and implementation across the Big Sky video capture platform, leads the Imaging Systems Team, coordinates customer needs and product requirement documents, negotiates vendor contracts, participates in image sensor, lens, optical, mechanical, camera hardware, electrical, and thermal design processes, protects Sphere intellectual property, and reports to executive stakeholders. Candidates need an Engineering or Physics degree, at least 10 years of experience with optical systems or related software and hardware development, a track record of delivering advanced imaging projects under aggressive deadlines, 5 years of supervisory or management experience, engineering workflow knowledge, technical project management experience, and experience delivering multiple projects with competing priorities. Product development and production experience is a plus. The role requires domestic travel, including monthly trips to the Bozeman, Montana office.
