Support Sphere Corporate Accounting in day-to-day operations and monthly and quarterly accounting close. Responsibilities include analyzing balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, preparing monthly results reports, supporting tax and audit requests, improving financial systems and reporting processes, partnering with Finance to resolve reconciling items, and assisting with corporate accounting projects. The role requires a BS or BA, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, 2 to 3 years of public accounting experience in a large or Big 4 firm or a large corporate environment, and strong knowledge of the monthly close process, financial statements, account analyses, reconciliations, spreadsheets, writing, and communication. CPA certification is preferred. Candidates should be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, work cross-functionally, work under pressure and overtime as needed, and recommend efficient processes.
