The Secondary School Counselor supports the emotional, social, and academic wellbeing of students from Year 7 to Year 13. Responsibilities include individual and group counseling, confidential caseload management, wellbeing and personal development teaching, workshops, crisis intervention, safeguarding support, transition programs, university and careers guidance, application support, university events, career counseling, assessments, employability workshops, and maintaining student guidance records. The role requires relevant counseling, psychology, social work, or education qualifications, counseling experience, knowledge of adolescent development and international education systems, strong communication skills, confidentiality, child protection commitment, and English proficiency.
