Hanover Bank is seeking a full-time SBA Loan Packager for a remote position reporting to the Loan Packager Team Lead, SBA. The role acts as a liaison between customers, Business Development Officers, and brokers while preparing loan files for underwriting and SBA submission. Duties include coordinating SBA loan packaging and origination, collecting and reviewing borrower documentation, preparing checklists, ordering third-party reports, completing due diligence, reviewing SBA forms, preparing term sheets, collecting good faith deposits, managing loan workflows, coordinating with the Government Guaranteed Lending Assistant and closer, recommending procedural changes, protecting customer privacy and file security, and completing required training. Candidates should have at least three years of SBA lending department experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, at least two years of SBA origination experience for commercial loans, and knowledge of USDA, SBA 7(a), 504, Express Lines of Credit, and SBA standard operating procedures. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
