The Perinatal Therapist provides in-person and virtual care within the Perinatal Partial Hospitalization Program and Outpatient Program in New York City and northern New Jersey. Responsibilities include conducting admissions, intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, consultations, individual, couples, family, dyadic and group psychotherapy, treatment planning, discharge planning, risk assessment, documentation, outcome monitoring and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role supports women experiencing psychiatric conditions during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as patients navigating attachment challenges, fertility concerns, or grief and loss. Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PhD, PsyD or equivalent is required in New York and/or New Jersey. Two to five years of clinical experience is required, with perinatal mood and anxiety disorder experience preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based modalities including IPT, DBT, CBT and Dyadic Therapy, EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic clinical environment are also required.
