Support Indigenous people navigating the justice system and help ensure Indigenous voices are heard in courts, social services and correctional settings. Duties include guiding people through legal challenges, connecting clients with counselling, housing, Elders and other supports, and supporting families' cultural connections. Strong listening and communication skills, respect for Indigenous cultures and experiences, and a commitment to advocacy, client empowerment and social justice are required. Experience in social services, legal aid or community support, particularly with Indigenous communities, is an asset.
