Serve as the primary liaison between Quincy Mutual and independent insurance agencies, building and managing agency relationships and supporting profitable growth. The role includes regular travel within a designated area of Massachusetts, primarily Boston and North of Boston; training agency personnel on company products, programs, and processes; developing business plans and sales, distribution, and profitability strategies; gathering and communicating competitive intelligence; reviewing agency production and profitability; and collaborating with Underwriting, Production, Management, Claims, and Loss Control. Requirements include a work-related bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, at least 6 years of property and casualty insurance field sales or marketing experience with independent agents, a proven record of developing agency relationships, agency aggregation management experience, strong insurance and Microsoft Office skills, agency training and presentation experience, effective communication and negotiation skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a valid driver's license with a favorable driving record. Advanced degrees and professional designations such as CPCU or CIC are preferred.
