This hybrid position follows a schedule with three in-office days, including Tuesday and Thursday as Company anchor days. The role manages outgoing subrogation claims, primarily supporting subrogation recoveries approximately 70% of the time, with the remaining 30% focused on adverse subrogation response and mitigation. Responsibilities include maximizing recovery on auto and property files, reviewing adverse subrogation demands, evaluating liability and recovery prospects, developing negotiation strategies, communicating with insureds, agents, external carriers, and legal counsel, coordinating with internal teams, managing claim files and deadlines, participating in arbitration responses and panel reviews, and following legal, procedural, and compliance standards. A bachelor's degree and industry certifications such as AIC are preferred. RI and CT adjuster's licenses are required, along with at least 3 years of auto claims handling experience. Subrogation experience, particularly in outgoing recovery efforts, is preferred. Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills are required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of files independently and proficiency with claims and office software systems. The salary range is $62,000 to $74,000 per year.
