The role supports people with disabilities with social, community and recreational participation, in-home support and daily living activities, specialised transport and domestic support. Applicants should be interested in helping people explore their capabilities and reach their potential, enjoy sharing their interests and passions, manage their own time and work autonomously, and be comfortable in a constantly changing work environment. NDIS experience and qualifications in Disability or Mental Health are highly regarded but not essential. Duties include working professionally and with care under general guidance, supporting clients with daily personal care and community access, and working with limited supervision while exercising sound judgement, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity. Applicants preferably have Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol experience, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, a current Working with Children Check, current First Aid and CPR certificates, two professional referees, and a driver's licence, car and comprehensive car insurance.
