CAP and Schmid & Voiles are seeking two Litigation Attorneys, one based in the Los Angeles headquarters and one in the Orange County office. The role is responsible for all aspects of case management except presenting cases at trial and arbitration, including discovery and investigation strategy, pleadings, discovery responses, court appearances, trial and arbitration preparation, motions, attorney collaboration, cost-effective case work-up, claims reporting, and representing CAP and MPT physicians at depositions. Requirements include a J.D. degree, 3 to 6 years of medical malpractice litigation experience, a California law license, independent working ability, and the ability to mentor, train, and build team enthusiasm among staff counsel. Salary range is $180,000 to $230,000 annually, depending on experience.
