Join the San Francisco office as a mid-level litigation associate working across sophisticated commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement matters, and public law challenges. Responsibilities include managing cases and discrete litigation components with increasing independence, drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and substantive briefs, conducting and overseeing written discovery and motion practice, participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, and client strategy sessions, developing legal analysis, communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and regulators, and taking ownership of key workstreams. The role offers meaningful stand-up experience, direct client engagement, early responsibility in significant matters, close collaboration with experienced partners, lean staffing, competitive compensation commensurate with experience, and hybrid flexibility. Qualifications include three to four years of litigation experience in state or federal court, experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery, strong research, writing, and analytical skills, sound professional judgment, organizational skills, an active California Bar membership or ability to obtain admission promptly, and an interest in commercial litigation and regulatory or public law matters. Training at a leading law firm, litigation boutique, or government practice is preferred, while judicial clerkship or government experience is a plus.
