Join Sands' Training and Education Team in this newly created role, delivering healthcare education programmes to improve bereavement care for families and help save babies' lives. The role leads the development of educational resources for healthcare and related professionals, including webinars, eLearning modules, written resources, films and face to face events. Responsibilities include collaborating with subject experts and stakeholders, ensuring resources are evidence based and aligned with current guidelines, representing Sands at conferences and workshops, managing and developing training staff, facilitating training for healthcare professionals and students, and building relationships with NHS clinical leads, professional bodies and universities. Applicants must have clinical NHS experience in early pregnancy, maternity or neonatal services, knowledge of relevant guidelines, policy and best practice in bereavement care following pregnancy loss or baby death, experience creating and delivering training for healthcare professionals and students both online and face to face, excellent presentation and communication skills, experience collaborating with stakeholders, and a working knowledge of the National Bereavement Care Pathway. The role is home working, with occasional evening and weekend work likely. Salary is £41,715 per annum plus a £312 Home Worker Allowance per annum, for 35 hours per week.
