Niku X is looking for a professional and experienced Dining Room Manager to ensure smooth restaurant operations, hire and train staff, manage schedules, meet food safety requirements, provide exceptional guest service, motivate team members and manage daily operations. Responsibilities include supporting menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, handling team member concerns, supervising shifts, assisting with employment and termination decisions, conducting meetings, scheduling labor, complying with regulations, resolving guest problems and maintaining supply inventory. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of management experience in a high end food and beverage establishment or related professional area, strong communication skills, experience in a high volume polished restaurant, basic computer and Microsoft Office skills, and preferred knowledge of wine and sake plus TIPS or TAM certification.
