Join a pharmaceutical company backed by a private equity fund that is building a team to commercialise products acquired from a multinational pharmaceutical company. As the company's first Compliance Director, you will design, establish and implement a comprehensive compliance framework aligned with Chinese laws, regulations and industry ethical standards. Responsibilities include developing compliance strategies, drafting policies and procedures, delivering employee training, conducting risk assessments, establishing monitoring and audit plans, managing whistleblowing channels and internal investigations, overseeing third-party due diligence, and advising management and departments on compliance matters. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, strong communication and influence, analytical and judgement skills, integrity, fluency in Chinese, and 8+ years of pharmaceutical compliance experience including at least 2 years in a compliance management role. Experience building a compliance system from scratch and in anti-corruption and anti-commercial bribery practices is required. Prior multinational pharmaceutical company experience and experience across the product lifecycle are preferred.
