Clark Wilson LLP is seeking a Commercial Leasing Paralegal to join its Commercial Real Estate practice group. This is a permanent position in a collegial working environment that supports growth and professional development. Responsibilities include managing commercial leasing transactions from start to finish under the supervision of a senior solicitor, preparing lease renewals, modifications, amendments, short form leases and registrations, communicating with leasing representatives for landlords and tenants, completing and reviewing due diligence searches including Land Title and BC Corporate Registry searches involving complex corporate structures, and prioritizing incoming requests to meet deadlines. Applicants must be graduates of a recognized Paralegal program with at least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal in a legal environment, particularly in commercial leasing transactions. The role requires knowledge of BC land title registration requirements, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, BC Online and MYLTSA, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, a client-centred approach, sound judgment, discretion and confidentiality.
