As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Program Officer provides strategic oversight of WSFSSH's social services programs for residents and Older Adult Centers' participants. The role oversees shelter, supportive, independent and congregate care housing programs, as well as three Older Adult Centers, and leads a large, diverse team across Manhattan and the Bronx. Responsibilities include stewarding program strategy, developing and evaluating programs, establishing success metrics and KPIs, strengthening data collection and dashboards, building community partnerships, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, managing program budgets, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture. The position requires at least 10 years of progressively responsible human services experience, significant knowledge of programs for aging populations, a bachelor's degree, a social work background, and experience with program innovation, supervision, clinical oversight, funder relationships, fiscal management, outcomes measurement, complex budgets and government and philanthropic funding. This role requires four days in person and one day remote, with local travel to sites in Manhattan and the Bronx. The pay range is $200,000 to $220,000.
