Carry out all relevant vessel duties before, during and after voyages, including cleaning and maintenance, passenger acquisition and support, management of the ship's cash desk and ticket sales, and deployment on different vessels across the fleet's operating area. Requirements include inland navigation training, a valid seaman's book showing the qualification of deckhand, engine attendant or helmsman, an inland VHF radio certificate, a first-aid certificate, practical skills, fluent German and a friendly, customer-oriented appearance. Foreign language skills, especially English, are advantageous. This is seasonal work for 7 to 8 months, with possible extension and preferred re-employment the following season after a successful season. The position starts immediately, has seasonal working hours of 48 hours per week, pro-rated holiday, provided workwear and protective clothing, and no overnight accommodation.
