Install, commission, monitor and maintain energy supply, measurement, control, communication, signalling, drive and lighting systems on inland vessels and shore facilities. Duties include designing system modifications, creating and archiving wiring diagrams, installing cable routing and power systems, setting up electrical machines and drive systems, wiring switchgear and control systems, programming and configuring systems, testing safety functions, troubleshooting, repairing equipment, instructing onboard personnel and providing service. The role requires work in accordance with relevant regulations and safety provisions, use of Windows applications, work with English-language documents and communication in English, and a category B driving licence. Pay is according to the Stern und Kreisschiffahrt GmbH and ver.di collective agreement, with 30 working days of holiday and a six-month probationary period.
