Ensure the technical operational readiness of vessels and shore facilities by carrying out mechanical repairs on technical equipment, assemblies and components. Relevant qualifications include mechatronics, marine engineering, marine mechanics, construction mechanics or industrial mechanics, along with professional experience, a category B driving licence and knowledge of marine electrics, maintenance, repair, mechanical engineering and marine operations. A forklift licence, hydraulic knowledge and basic electric welding and cutting training are desirable. This is a full-time role with 38.5 hours per week during the season, paid weekend duties, a permanent contract, pay according to the Stern und Kreisschiffahrt GmbH and ver.di collective agreement, 30 working days of holiday and a six-month probationary period.
