Sands is looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic Bereavement Care Resources Officer to improve the quality and consistency of bereavement care provided by professionals after pregnancy loss or the death of a baby. The role involves creating and maintaining a repository of up-to-date resources, updating Sands' Bereavement Care Guidance and National Bereavement Care Pathways, promoting and digitising resources, embedding bereavement care standards into national frameworks, and creating tools to monitor impact. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of current healthcare and bereavement practice, policy and guidelines, experience creating and updating guidance materials and written resources, project management and coordination experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage diverse communities and communicate complex issues to public and professional audiences. The role is home based with occasional travel, with occasional evening or weekend working possible.
