Clark Wilson LLP's Commercial Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced associate with 3 to 7 years of experience. The role involves drafting and providing legal advice on real estate and commercial contracts, including negotiating and reviewing leasing arrangements, due diligence searching and analysis, real estate acquisition, disposition and financing transactions, commercial real estate property development, financing arrangements, partnership, co-ownership and joint venture agreements, and purchase and sale agreements. The ideal candidate has excellent written and oral communication, organizational, analytical and drafting skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collegial team. The candidate should be client-centred, able to manage a busy practice and quick deadlines, keep senior lawyers apprised, and have an entrepreneurial spirit with ambition to build a long-term practice and pursue partnership.
