The role involves helping ensure Indigenous voices are heard, connecting clients with counselling, housing, Elders and other supports, and guiding people through legal and related challenges. Strong listening and communication skills, respect for Indigenous cultures and experiences, and a commitment to advocacy, client empowerment and social justice are required. Experience in social services, legal aid or community support, particularly with Indigenous communities, is an asset.
