Savo is recruiting a Kenya-based East Africa Regional Manager to support the growth and long-term regional presence of a UK-based foundation focused on sustainable water and sanitation services. The role will originate and assess investment opportunities, support financial analysis, due diligence, investment case development and transactions, manage portfolio company performance, provide strategic and operational support to investees, build relationships with operators, utilities, regulators, investors, advisers and ecosystem partners, and act as the Foundation's primary on-the-ground representative in East Africa. The role requires 6 to 10+ years of relevant experience in investment, transaction advisory, project development, venture building or related roles in Africa, strong East Africa and particularly Kenya experience, and strong commercial, financial and analytical capability including financial modelling and business analysis. WASH sector experience is strongly preferred. The position is entrepreneurial, autonomous and hands-on, with regular coordination across the Foundation, Savo and external WASH ecosystem stakeholders.
