Savo Group is seeking an entrepreneurial deal maker to join its executive team and take a material role in building the business. The role will lead Group capital planning, allocation and fundraising, support operating companies with capital planning, structuring and fundraising, lead Group acquisitions and transaction execution, and support client transaction execution where appropriate. The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO and may become a core member of the Group Executive Team. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree, a proven track record in capital planning, transaction execution, deal making and investor networks, and experience in areas such as corporate M&A, investment banking, private equity or operating company CFO roles. Key requirements include financial management, strategic thinking, project management, investment modelling, execution, entrepreneurial ability, people development and strong communication skills. Experience with international or regional transactions, preferably in African markets, and familiarity with sustainable asset classes such as real estate, manufacturing and sustainable land use development are preferred. The role requires willingness to travel and work across project and operating company locations, including Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria. Savo is broadly location agnostic, with a preference for London or Nairobi, and may explore sponsorship. Remuneration comprises a base salary to be determined based on experience, a performance-related bonus and equity of up to GBP 500,000. The role is being hired on a rolling basis, with the aim of filling the vacancy by July 2026.
