Teaching Assistants at The Complete Works Independent School support students to re-engage with education in a safe, inclusive and structured environment. The role includes supporting teachers with lessons and learning activities, providing classroom or 1:1 learning support, delivering literacy and numeracy interventions, preparing learning resources, assisting with assessments and qualifications, supervising lessons when required, supporting behaviour and pastoral needs, monitoring student progress, completing risk assessments and administration, and promoting safeguarding, inclusion and positive relationships. The role requires patience, flexibility, resilience, strong communication and organisational skills, experience in a school or educational setting, GCSEs in English, Maths and Science at grade C/5 or above, and competence with Gmail and Google Suite. Knowledge of SEN, behavioural support strategies and safeguarding procedures is desirable. The role involves working onsite and offsite across London Zones 1-6, including students' homes, libraries and other educational venues. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
