Deliver Business Enterprise to KS4 students of all abilities and needs in small groups or on a 1:1 basis across South London and East London schools. Responsibilities include delivering Business Enterprise experiences and BTEC courses, leading and supporting teaching staff, marking and moderating assignments, overseeing course portfolios, supporting vocational team training and curriculum development, preparing creative and relevant lesson plans, writing student reports, providing pastoral care, supporting student development, maintaining safeguarding standards and attending weekly training. The role requires an A-level or equivalent qualification in a Business-related subject, comprehensive experience teaching Business Enterprise to students with behavioural and special educational needs and disabilities, knowledge of business ownership, business models, finance, enterprise ideas, promotional mix and branding, and the ability to teach other subjects where required. GCSE-level grades A*-C or equivalent in Maths, Science and English are also required. This is a salaried full-time or part-time term-time role, with part-time teachers working between 2 and 4 days per week. The role is based across South London and East London schools, with weekly Thursday training from 4.30pm to 6.00pm. The post holder will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
