Join Hamson Barron Smith's friendly, busy and motivated MEP design team in Haywards Heath. You will assist with developing mechanical engineering designs for construction projects across the Education, Healthcare and Residential sectors, covering the project lifecycle from feasibility through design development, detailed design and construction. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary design team, undertaking mechanical design activity, advising on risk, and managing programme, quality and cost requirements. You will work closely with the team Director, collaborate with immediate and wider teams, and provide guidance and encouragement to junior colleagues. The successful candidate will have experience in mechanical design work, friendly interpersonal skills, confident communication, and be a positive, organised, dynamic and output-driven professional. Membership of a relevant professional body such as CIBSE is desirable.
