Hamson Barron Smith is seeking a Chartered Landscape Architect to join its multidisciplinary team based in Tower Bridge, London or Norwich. The role involves developing designs and delivering projects across the Education, Residential, Public Realm and Healthcare sectors, covering the project lifecycle from feasibility through design development, detail design and construction. Responsibilities include delivering landscape design outputs, advising on risk, programme, quality and cost, working with the team Associate, collaborating with wider teams, guiding junior colleagues, managing client relationships, advising on landscape matters for planning, landscape management and biodiversity, contributing to fee agreements, and producing drawings and details to company quality standards. Candidates should ideally be Chartered Members of the Landscape Institute with at least three years post Chartership, or have suitable experience and be on the Pathway to Chartership. Experience leading multiple projects on site, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, independence, organisation, technical proficiency and a proactive attitude are required. BIM experience and knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and FormIt are beneficial, alongside technical knowledge, presentation and report writing skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, NBS Chorus and Publisher.
