Freelance Learning Support Advisor role supporting NYT's Playing Up accredited course. The role involves identifying learners' support needs, creating bespoke support packages, attending classes, delivering one-to-one and group study support, monitoring and recording learner progress, supporting academic requirements for the Level 3 OCN Access to Higher Education Diploma in Theatre Arts, and providing wellbeing and pastoral care. Applicants should have at least one year's learning support or teaching advisor experience in a formal education setting, a RQF qualification or training in learning support, an understanding of neurodiversity and learning difficulties, experience supporting SEND students, one-to-one and group support experience, knowledge of accreditation systems, and an understanding of the arts and creative sectors. The role offers the opportunity to support unemployed young people aged 19 to 25, or up to 30 if learning disabled, and to contribute to an inclusive programme designed to remove barriers to participation in the arts. The contract is contingent on receipt of a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
