Serve as Gelber Group's chief legal advisor and a key member of the executive leadership team. Lead the Legal function, oversee Compliance through partnership with the Chief Compliance Officer, advise on legal, regulatory, governance, employment, commercial, technology, intellectual property, and strategic matters, lead regulatory inquiries and investigations, negotiate business-critical agreements, direct outside counsel, and build the long-term capabilities of the Legal and Compliance functions. The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor, is licensed or eligible for admission in Illinois, has approximately 10 to 20 years of relevant experience, substantial financial markets regulatory or in-house experience, and experience leading legal teams and advising senior stakeholders. The approximate annual base salary in Chicago is $225,000 to $275,000.
