PLP Architecture is seeking an experienced Bids Manager to provide fixed-term maternity cover in its business development and bidding team. Working as part of a team of two, the role will lead and coordinate high-quality bid submissions across UK and international opportunities, working closely with partners, project teams and the wider business development function. Responsibilities include managing the bids department, preparing and coordinating submissions, tailoring CVs and case studies, maintaining the bid library and CRM database, reviewing quality and compliance, supporting interview preparation, tracking opportunities and outcomes, maintaining sub-consultant relationships, managing vendor portals and supporting global business development. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of bid submission experience, knowledge of the UK and international RFP process, strong communication, organisation and document production skills, excellent attention to detail, and good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign. An architectural background or strong interest in architecture, construction and creative processes is required.
