Full-time salaried teaching role at TCW South School, delivering English to students aged across Key Stages 1 to 5 on a one-to-one or small-group basis. Responsibilities include planning and teaching creative lessons, overseeing students' English progress, supporting offsite teachers, marking and assessing work, preparing reports, contributing to curriculum development and department training, providing pastoral care, and maintaining safeguarding and professional standards. The role also requires the ability to teach Maths, English and Science to foundation GCSE level, experience delivering high-quality lessons, knowledge of current curricula, SEN and behavioural needs, safeguarding and pedagogy, strong organisation and communication skills, and an honours degree or equivalent professional qualification. A-level or equivalent in an English subject and comprehensive experience teaching English to students with behavioural and/or special educational needs are essential for the English responsibility. Qualified Teacher Status, relevant A-levels, creative environment experience, a creative background and charity experience are desirable. The role is based at the Learning Hub, TCW South School, and is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Working hours are Monday to Friday during term time, with some training, meetings and events outside normal hours.
