Deliver a wide range of creative vocational lessons to students of all ages and abilities in small groups or 1:1 sessions at one of the school's hubs. The role includes preparing tailored lesson plans, teaching up to 30 hours per week, overseeing creative progress, marking and assessing work, supporting qualifications, providing pastoral care, completing reports and risk assessments, and supervising offsite teachers delivering creative subjects. The successful candidate will work flexibly within TCW's ethos, support student development and safeguarding, contribute to training and meetings, and may teach other subjects or cover other teachers' sessions as required. Essential requirements include an honours degree or equivalent professional qualification, an A Level or equivalent in Art, Design or a creative subject, experience teaching high-quality art or creative lessons to students with behavioural and/or special educational needs and disabilities, GCSE level or equivalent in Maths, Science and English, knowledge of current curricula, SEN and behavioural needs, teaching practices, pedagogy and safeguarding, and excellent organisational, communication, administration and IT skills. QTS is not essential. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
