The official search application form may be used to request removal of a caution recorded on a qualified Torrens title. Following a satisfactory search, the applicant must lodge the qualified Torrens title and a Cancellation of caution form 17CC, with the relevant statutory declaration completed. A standard lodgment fee is charged. Where required, a survey report and identification survey prepared by a surveyor must specify the age and nature of buildings, fences and occupations and their relationship to parcel boundaries.
