A physical therapist evaluates your body, current and past medical history, and home or work environment, including your desk or office setup, tools and equipment, job demands, and typical daily activities. The assessment may simulate or recreate tasks and includes education on posture, energy efficiency, body mechanics, workspace adjustments, rest breaks, and equipment modifications to reduce and prevent pain and injury. Additional physical therapy services may include therapeutic exercises, joint mobilizations, and modalities such as electrical stimulation or cryotherapy.
