Includes probing beyond visible damage to find all affected wood, removing failed sections back to sound material, splicing in kiln-dried rot-resistant stock matched to the original, priming cut ends and joints, fastening with exterior-grade hardware, and correcting the water path that caused the rot. Small voids in otherwise sound members may be consolidated and filled with structural epoxy. Work is performed with a licensed partner where required.
