Face-to-face qualification for international students pursuing careers as builders, general forepersons or building inspectors. Covers structural principles, risk and financial management, estimating, building and construction contracts, contractor selection, construction supervision and quality management for residential and commercial projects. Includes 27 units, trainer and assessor support by phone and email, learning resources, learner support and up to 52 weeks of full-time study. Entry requirements include being over 18, completing Year 12 or equivalent, a course entry interview, English language competence equivalent to IELTS 5.5 and an LLN test. Credit and/or RPL may allow eligible students to complete the course in a shorter timeframe. Available at the Sydney and Melbourne campuses.
