Help protect the Blue Mountains landscape by delivering community education and communication initiatives that help residents identify, manage and prevent the spread of priority weeds. Duties include facilitating workshops, field days and presentations, creating digital and print resources, contributing to social media and community awareness campaigns, and working with residents, community groups and Council staff to support practical weed management outcomes. Applicants should have qualifications or demonstrated experience in communications, education, community engagement, conservation, land management or a related field, together with strong communication, customer service, organisational and administrative skills and knowledge of weed management in the Blue Mountains. This is a temporary three-year position, working seven hours per day for three days per week. Applications close on 30 August 2026.
