Warragul Vets is seeking a qualified, experienced Veterinary Nurse for a full-time, hands-on role in a progressive mixed practice. Responsibilities include providing patient care across hospital and surgical nursing, placing IV catheters and setting up fluids, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting with pathology and treatments, performing nurse consults, and supporting reception and client care when required. Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technician degree, have at least 2 years' experience in a busy veterinary practice, strong nursing skills, a passion for patient care and client service, and a positive, proactive attitude. The role includes on-call shifts, usually two per week, and one in four Saturdays.
