Apiam Animal Health is seeking experienced veterinarians for all Australian states. The role involves undertaking consultations, including after-hours emergency calls, maintaining client relations, performing routine and non-routine consultations, surgery, dentistry, medical workups, radiographic procedures, pathological testing, surgical autopsy and euthanasia as required. Responsibilities also include prescribing and administering medications and anaesthesia, communicating diagnoses and treatment plans, performing on-call duties, meeting animal health regulatory requirements, and continuing professional development. Essential criteria include registration with the State Veterinary Board, a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent, at least two years of veterinary experience, a current valid driver's licence, customer focus, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication and time management skills, professional presentation, and knowledge of health and safety obligations in a mixed animal practice. Salary is $75,000 to above $100,000 depending on experience and specialisation.
