Long-established mid-sized law firm seeks a partner-level trusts and estates attorney for its New York City office. Responsibilities include representing high-net-worth individuals in estate planning and administration, trust and estate planning options, tax issues, wealth transfers, asset valuation, succession planning, and direct client contact. Candidates need at least 10 years of sophisticated estate planning experience, strong academic credentials, communication skills, and excellent interpersonal and client relationship abilities. Portable business is preferred. Base compensation is about $250,000 to $275,000 or more, with benefits, additional compensation for originated business, and a hybrid arrangement requiring four days in office per week.
