T & G Engineering is looking for a dynamic skilled Toolmaker to join its team of engineers. The role includes all aspects of toolmaking, including manual milling, turning, cylindrical, rotary and surface grinding, using measuring equipment to check components, working on highly complex components with strict GD&T adherence and compliance with technical documentation, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Applicants should have previous experience on manual machines, be able to read complex technical drawings with GD&T, have good organisational skills, and have a passion for engineering and commitment to achieving client requirements. The role offers training and development, a clean modern air-conditioned workshop, free on-site parking, stable long-term employment, a competitive hourly rate depending on experience, company pension scheme and private healthcare subject to normal conditions for new employees. Full-time hours are 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday from 7.30am to 2.30pm. Overtime during the week and on Saturdays is paid at time and a half.
