T & G Engineering is looking for a dynamic skilled Surface/Rotary Grinder to join its team of engineers. Responsibilities include all aspects of surface and rotary grinding, using measuring equipment to check components, working on highly complex components with strict GD&T adherence and compliance with technical documentation, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Requirements include experience in surface and rotary grinding, the ability to read complex technical drawings with GD&T, the ability to work on Jones & Shipman surface and cylindrical grinders with attachments and a Perfect 400R rotary grinder, good organisational skills, and a passion for engineering. Cylindrical grinding knowledge would be an advantage. The role offers a competitive hourly rate depending on experience, training and development, a clean modern air-conditioned workshop with free on-site parking, stable long-term employment, 39 full-time hours per week, overtime at time and a half, 23 days' holiday plus English public and bank holidays, a company pension scheme, and private healthcare subject to normal conditions for new employees.
