Our client, a well-respected regional house builder, is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to help oversee and coordinate a busy technical department. The role involves working with site managers and contract managers to ensure technical requirements, including section 104 and 106 agreements, are adhered to. You will liaise with external consultants and engineers to ensure technical drawings and specifications are correctly executed. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role offers excellent remuneration and the opportunity for career advancement into a senior directorship role in the short to medium term. Candidates should currently be working in the house building sector, have at least three years of experience in a similar technical or engineering management role, understand section 104 and 106 agreements, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and have experience working with construction staff on site to resolve technical issues. Engineering qualifications and experience with CAD technical design software are desirable.
