An excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Consultant level General Adult Psychiatrist to work for one of the UK's leading independent healthcare providers in the mental health sector. The role involves overseeing a 30 bedded inpatient service for male patients within a locked rehabilitation setting and providing psychiatric input for a caseload of 30 patients. Many patients will be detained under the Mental Health Act, with some having a forensic mental health history. The provider is rapidly expanding and plans to build additional hospitals, offering the opportunity to advance your career. The ideal candidate will be working at Consultant level in General Adult Psychiatry for a private or public healthcare provider, have a good understanding of treating patients in an inpatient setting, preferably with an interest in patients with a forensic mental health background, and hold approved clinician status.
