Reid Accountants + Advisors is seeking an experienced Manager, Tax to join its New York City office in a hybrid capacity. The role is responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, tax planning, advisory and compliance services, preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, supervising and mentoring staff, managing engagements, and serving as a primary client contact. Objectives include handling returns for high wealth individuals, fiduciary, corporate, partnership, and multistate filings; conducting tax planning, preparation, review, research, and risk management; coordinating engagement workflows; communicating with Partners; and building strong client relationships. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA license, at least 7 years of experience in a public accounting or CPA firm, strong technical and client communication skills, and the ability to lead teams. Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, tax research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. The position is full-time, hybrid, typically scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with increased hours during busy seasons. It offers a competitive annual salary of $150,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and learning.
