Full-time summer internships are available to law students. Selected students manage their own caseload under the supervision of a Veterans Legal Services staff attorney. Duties include client intakes, legal research, drafting correspondence and legal pleadings, and counseling clients. Students observe court proceedings and, if certified under SJC Rule 3:03, may have the opportunity to present in court. Interns gain exposure to domestic relations, housing, debt, and benefits acquisition.
