Veterans Legal Services is accepting applications for Fall 2026 law student advocate internship positions. This hybrid role includes in-person and remote work, speaking with veterans seeking legal services, conducting intake interviews, attending legal clinics, and managing caseloads under an attorney's supervision. Additional duties may include communicating with clients and opposing parties, conducting legal research, drafting memos and court documents, assisting with case assignment to the volunteer attorney panel, and administrative tasks. The internship may offer an opportunity to present at a court or agency hearing and is intended for law students with a demonstrated interest in public interest law, civil rights issues, or supporting veterans.
