St Vincent's College is seeking a committed, professional and enthusiastic Student Support Assistant to assist the Pastoral and Diverse Learning Teams in the pastoral and academic care of students. The role includes reception duties, responsibility for student attendance and assistance with daily school procedures. Duties include providing administrative support to the Student Deanery, supporting students presenting for pastoral support, supervising and accompanying students with social-emotional regulation, managing parent communications, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, calendar management, scheduling appointments and meetings, preparing correspondence, answering and directing phone calls, generating attendance reports, maintaining confidential pastoral records, managing data entry in the College Student Information System, collating documentation for NESA applications, and typing, scanning and filing. The successful candidate will have high quality interpersonal and communication skills, experience or demonstrated aptitude working with children with social-emotional and diverse learning needs, the ability to build positive rapport with students, staff and stakeholders, courteous and professional communication skills, administration support experience or demonstrated technical skills, and motivation to perform the role with integrity and enthusiasm. Full-time position, term time only, commencing 11 August 2025 or by negotiation.
