St Vincent’s College is seeking a Deputy Principal to provide support and counsel to the Principal, deputise for the Principal as required, represent the College at community events and exercise a public ministry in the Catholic Church. The role provides leadership across Catholic identity and mission, executive leadership, student wellbeing, student leadership and engagement, student support services, community advancement, people and culture, administration, compliance and risk, and teaching. Essential requirements include active participation in the Catholic Church, willingness to lead the vision and values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and the Sisters of Charity, recognised current qualifications in Education and Theology or Spirituality, senior relational leadership experience, experience with child safety compliance, a current driver’s licence, eligibility to work in Australia and relevant registration for a New South Wales Catholic school. Preferred candidates require a National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check. The full-time appointment is for an initial five-year period, with possible renewal at the discretion of the College Principal. The position is based at the Potts Point campus and includes an attractive remuneration package, employer superannuation contribution, a laptop and a car space.
